These Terms of Service (Terms) are a contract between you and Forest Charm Ltd, operating the store japjapvan at japjapvan.com (we, us, japjapvan). Forest Charm Ltd is registered at 350 Fan Kam Road, Sheung Shui, New Territories, Hong Kong SAR.
By browsing the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the store.
1. What japjapvan is
japjapvan is a daigou shop. We buy authentic Japanese skincare, haircare, and daily essentials in Japan and deliver them to customers in Canada. This catalog is not stocked in a Vancouver warehouse.
2. Pre-order
Every checkout is a pre-order. You pay at checkout. After we receive the order we buy the item in Japan, ship a haul to Canada, then complete local delivery.
First shipment is typically about one month after you pay. Paying does not mean next-day or in-stock local dispatch. Tracking is sent when the Canadian last-mile leg starts, not on the day you pay.
A pre-order is a one-time purchase. It is not a monthly subscription and does not auto-charge the following month unless you place another order.
3. Products
We source authentic Japanese products and do not sell substitutes labelled as the Japanese original. Photos and descriptions are for the haul item. Packaging, batch, and expiry can vary with Japanese retail stock.
You are responsible for checking ingredients and suitability before use, including for cosmetics, haircare, and contact lenses. japjapvan does not give medical advice.
If we cannot source an item after you order, we will contact you and refund that item.
4. Price, tax, and payment
Prices are in Canadian dollars unless checkout shows otherwise. Listed prices are intended to include our Japan-to-Canada freight. GST/PST and any duties or brokerage are shown at checkout. You are responsible for amounts due at checkout.
Payment is processed by Shopify. We do not take payment over email, Instagram, or other messages.
5. Delivery area
Default delivery is Metro Vancouver and British Columbia. Other Canadian addresses may be possible — contact us before you order so we can confirm the haul route and timing.
6. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel a pre-order within one day (24 hours) of placing the order for a full refund. Email foreverlong1130@gmail.com with your order number.
After 24 hours, if we have not yet sourced or packed your haul, contact us. We may still be able to cancel. Once packed or shipped, the Refund policy applies: sealed unused items may be returned within 14 days of delivery; opened skincare, haircare, contact lenses, and food generally cannot be returned except for defect or a wrong item.
7. Your account and acceptable use
Provide accurate checkout details. Keep account login details safe. Do not misuse the site, attempt fraud, or interfere with the store. We may refuse or cancel an order if we cannot source the item, suspect fraud, or cannot deliver to the address.
The store is not directed at children. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your province.
8. Intellectual property
japjapvan site content, including text, images, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. Product brand names and packaging remain the property of their owners. You may not copy the site for commercial use without permission.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable Canadian or British Columbia consumer protection law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. The Last updated date will change. Continued use of the store after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
